The first bulb was invented in 1800 bu Humphry Davy, an english scientist. He invented a battery and two wires connected to it and a piece of carbon. Carbon was lit producing light.This technique for obtaining the light was called arc. It is considered however that electric light was invented consecutive two people:Thomas Edison in the U.S ans Sir Joseph Wilson Ewan of England. Funda? :D
