National museum of Ethnography and Natural History
It is the oldest museum in Moldova. It opened in october 1889 (one thousand eight hundred and eighty - nine). It is based on collection of exhibits from Bassarabia agrarian first exhibition, organized at the initiative of Baron Stuart. It curenttly has an endowment of about 135 (one hundred thirty - five) thousand pieces. It owns an important collection of pieces on the natural history of the country.
