Romania has a climate which ranges from temperate to continental. Thus, winters are quite gloomy and cold, with enormous grey clouds covering the sky like a shield protects its knight. In the highest mountains, the avarage is lower than usual, therefore most people choose to spend their days warming up beside a fireplace.
However, summers are generally very hot, during which times every child, adult and even some elders single out ice cream. In the extreme southest, Black Sea offers a great escape from the torrid heat because of its milder, maritime climate. Furthermore, precipitation is generally modest, which I consider best: not to much rain, nor snow - just the perfect amount.
