1. Once, I visited a haunted house with my friends. It was pretty scary; there were real cowebs, skulls, even blood splattered on the wall, and everything was dark, with no lights!
We managed to go upstairs, despite shaking with fear. But when we heard a loud, high-pitched scream, we all ran out of the house. But of course we returned a few days later, and the 'high-pitched scream' turned out to be just a loud squeak from the old, wooden stairs.
2. When I first went to a theme park, the first thing I wanted to go on was on the carousel with wild animals. I sat on a lion, and the carousel started. Then, after a few moments, everything stopped, and the animals seemed to move on their own, as if they were alive. All I could do was watch, frozen in place. I swore I could even feel the lion beneath me move around.
I squeezed my eyes shut and shook my head. And then, when I opened them, everything was normal; the animals were still, thee carousel was spinning, my mother was watching me with a small smile...
But what scared me was the owner of the carousel, who was staring at me with a small, mysterious smirk.
3. A long time ago, I was out best friend, and we were walking through a lonely, dark alley, talking and laughing. When suddenly, we heard a small growl. Then a bark. We turned around, and there were five dogs at a few feet from us, snarling and barking as they approached us slowly.
Immediately, we started running as fast as we could, with the fierce dogs behind us. We managed to get away, but we never forgot the fear we had when the dogs were so close, they were snapping at our legs.
4. When me and my parents moved in a new house, a few days ago, something strange happened. We were unpacking the boxes, when suddenly, everything was knocked down, including the stuff we just put on the shelves, and the paintings.
My parents dismissed it, saying it was just the wind, as the window was largely opened. But at that moment, I didn`t feel the slightest breeze.
5. A few years ago, my parents left me alone for a night. And everything was going pretty well, especially because I loved being alone. But, at around 10 o'clock, when I was in my room, I heard spoons clattering in the kitchen.
Of course, I was too scared to check, so I just froze in place and remained silent. And, after a few moments, the clattering stopped, and everything fell silent.
Since then, I never remain alone in my house. I'm too scared to, even though my parents told me some spoons probably just fell from their support.
