1. I believe that humans are the more dangerous species in this case because we actively hunt them for profit ( leather bags made with crocodile skin). Where the crocodiles simply hunt for food or defending the teritory.
2. People endanger the crocodiles simply by hunting them for any other reason than food. We don't hunt them because our survival depends on it we hunt them for profit. There are many cases where we hunted crocodieles just so we can build more houses in their teritory (ex. Florida SUA)
