I was in my bedroom when I realized I could smell smoke. Looking out of the window I saw that the house next door was on fire. First I phoned the fire brigade, then I ran next door and rang the doorbell. I knew my neighbor Mrs. Lansbury was at home but nobody answered so I broke a window. After searching for some time I found her. She was laying unconscious on the kitchen floor so I took her out of the house. The fire brigade finally arrived and put the fire out. I waited with Mrs. Lansbury until the ambulance showed to take her to the hospital. A couple of days later I paid her a visit. She was very grateful to me for saving her life.
