It was freezing cold. The sun was shining. Luke and Charlie were hiking the Alps. They walked along the mountain path when, suddenly, they heard a noise. They looked up and saw an avalanche incoming. They hid in the cave while the snow crashed down. When the avalanche stopped, they crawled out from the cave and felt relieved to be safe.
