The quote "A room without books is like a body without a soul." really says a lot. A body without a soul is something lifeless, empty, boring, like a room where there isn't a single book. A room without books, even though there are very few rooms like that, like the kitchen and the bathroom, means that the room is empty, it's missing something that it's longing for but can't have, a life. A life that would make everything become alive, would make everything be brighter and more beautiful. That's how a lot of people visualize books. Things that without, the life would be a shell waiting for a snail to crawl into it.
